The short version
Prompt Master 3000 is built to be private by default. You can use the free tier completely anonymously — no account, no prompt storage, no tracking. If you upgrade to Pro, you sign in with Google so we can manage your subscription. Even then, your prompts are not saved unless you deliberately turn on Prompt History in your account settings. That feature is off by default and always will be.
What we collect — free (anonymous) users
One thing: a salted, irreversible SHA-256 hash of your IP address with a timestamp, stored for 24 hours, so we can enforce the daily free-use limit and stop abuse. The hash is one-way — it cannot be turned back into your IP — and it is not tied to any identity, account, or prompt content.
What we collect — Pro subscribers
When you sign in with Google, we receive your name, email address, and profile photo from Google and store them in your account. We also store your Stripe subscription status (plan, renewal date, payment state) so we can manage your access. Your prompts are still not saved by default.
Prompt History (opt-in only): Pro users can enable Prompt History in their account settings. If you turn it on, the prompts you run and their optimized outputs are saved to your account so you can review them later. This feature is off by default. You can turn it off or delete your history at any time from your dashboard. If you never enable it, your prompts are never stored — same as the free tier.
What we never do
- Sell your data. Not to anyone. Not ever.
- Save your prompts without your explicit opt-in (Pro only).
- Run third-party ad trackers or sell advertising.
- Use your prompts to train AI models.
- Share your account info with anyone except Stripe (for billing) and Google (for login).
Who sees your prompt when you optimize
When you click Optimize, your prompt is sent to our AI provider (the Lovable AI Gateway, which routes to large language models from Google and OpenAI) to generate the improved version. Once the response comes back to you, we don't hold onto it unless you have Prompt History enabled. The AI provider has its own privacy and data-handling policies, which we don't control.
Cloudflare Turnstile
We use Cloudflare Turnstile to verify that users are human before processing each optimization. Turnstile operates in invisible mode — no checkbox or challenge appears for the vast majority of users. Cloudflare may process limited technical signals (browser environment, IP) to make this determination. We do not receive or store those signals. For full details on how Cloudflare handles this data, see the Cloudflare Turnstile Privacy Addendum.
Cookies & local storage
We don't set advertising or tracking cookies. The site uses minimal local storage only for things like remembering you dismissed the "install as an app" prompt. Pro users' sessions are managed via Supabase Auth (a secure, HttpOnly cookie).
Kids
This service isn't directed at children under 13. We don't knowingly collect data from them — and since we barely collect any data from anyone, that's a pretty short rule to follow.
Changes
If we ever change what we collect, we'll update this page and bump the "last updated" date at the top. If the change is meaningful, we'll flag it on the homepage too.
